Last of the summer wines

We've picked three of our favourite Summer wines, which we'll be pouring all weekend, or as long as they last. Thanks to @edandrewsfilm for capturing what we do so well - and even making me look presentable!

2016 Weingut Weegmuller Scheurebe, Pfalz, Germany

This wine was customer favourite on our big Riesling night the other month (ok, it's actually a Riesling cross). There's such intense, tropical fruit here - the grapefruity, blood-orange finish is all you want on a summer's day like today. My pick for spicy dishes too.

2017 1753 Chateau de Campuget Rose, Nimes, France No real need for introduction on this wine, it's been a hit since we started pouring it on the first glimpse of summer. Rhône Valley meets Provence, ultimate deckchair refreshment.

2016 Laurent Guillet Morgon, Cote du Py, Beaujolais, France

Laurent has some of the top spots in Morgon, one of the 10 'Crus' of Beaujolais. From the first swill red summer fruits leap out of the glass. Serve slightly chilled during this weather. Steak tartare must have been on my mind yesterday morning, but I think you could get away with drinking this wine with almost any food, any time of the day
