Shop Update - November 2020

Shop & Delivery Continues As Normal

We have been classified an essential shop so we will continue to operate in a similar way during this second lockdown, with deliveries as normal and the shop remaining open Wednesday to Sunday, following all of our usual precautions.

We're extremely grateful to all of you who have supported Vinoramica, along with so many of the incredible independent businesses in Highams Park and beyond. As we approach our 3rd anniversary of opening it's heartening to look back on how far we have come in this short time, and that's all thanks to the amazing community of wine and beer lovers that have followed us.

By next week we should have a new selection of mixed cases ready for the run-up to Christmas, but rest-assured we will keep our most popular case - The Favourites (£65) - changing every week. I'm really pleased how so many of you are enjoying experiencing new wines each week, and have such trust in my palate!

This week's Favourites Case sees the return of two of the most crisp, zesty and refreshing white wines we know: the Picpoul de Pinet and the Vinho Verde Reserva. We're still waiting for the shipment from Georgia, so have kept the aromatic, exotic, rich Obeidy in the case this week. The choice of reds is becoming fuller as the weather turns, with the deep Old Vine Carignan from the South of France, the soft, fruity Tempranillo x Syrah blend from Spain and the barrel-aged Paula Estate Malbec from Argentina.

There are lots of fresh beers coming in, including new releases from Pressure Drop, Deya and Unity (their Verdant Collab which looks pretty special). There's also the return of some classics: Burning Sky Arise, Donzoko Northern Helles and Pilton Pomme Pomme - that's the superb Quince & Apple Keeved Cider that never seems to last for long.

Don't hesitate to get in touch, we'll always do whatever we can to help, especially if that means finding the right wine or beer to help make this whole thing a little more bearable!
