Domaine la Soumade Rasteau, Rhone Valley, France

Rasteau is a recently upgraded region within the Cotes-du-Rhone and producing terrific value wines that really offer a taste of the great terroirs of the Rhone.
This is a lightly filtred, Grenache-led blend that has a wonderful balance of wild herbs and soft hedgerow fruit, and excellent all-rounder or match to game.
