Monemvasia Winery Red
Grape: Agiorgitiko, Mavroudi
Agiorgitiko from the Monemvasia Peninsula on the south of Greece. A big, full-bodied red with a year in oak and 7 years of bottle age, this is a complex, developed wine with notes of soft, stewed fruits and a savoury yet herbaceous edge. Goes really well with with slow-cooked meats, especially lamb dishes.
