Michele Chiarlo, Nivole Moscato d'Asti, Piedmont, Italy, 750ml

Made with a very slow fermentation, which is then stopped at 5% abv, in order to retain all of the natural sweetness and intense aromatics of the Muscat grapes. The result is a gently sparkling sweet wine with bright peach and tropical fruit flavours. Dangerously easy to drink – in my opinion just as suited as an aperitif as it is with lighter, fruit-based desserts – I will forever think of this as “happy wine”!
